S. of Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, born in Spangler, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Clifton H. "Peck" Strum and Juliet V. Strum (Johnson); his son Thomas C. Strum; his stepdaughter Tena Marie Pheasant; and his sister Sandra Leamer.

He is survived by : his wife Carol A. Pheasant (Burket); his son Daniel F. Strum (Dawn) of Roaring Spring; his grandchildren, Lauren Strum (Jacob Marion) and Nick Strum (Kelsey); his great grandchildren, Emily, Brooks and Reese; and his stepchildren, Wayne Pheasant (Tammy), Joel Pheasant (Leslie), Dale Pheasant (Jody) and Bonnie Hileman (John). He is also survived by 16 step-grandchildren; and 22 step-great-grandchildren.
