He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, George "Sonny" and Edna "Tess" Pawling (Davis); his significant other Rhonda; his sons, Brian (Shannon) and Kerry (Holli); his grandchildren, Graceann, Hannah, Jamison and Elizabeth; and his brothers, Craig (Georgina) and Jeff (Janet).

In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorial contributions be made to the Wounded Warrior Project woundedwarriorproject.org, Paralyzed Veterans of America pva.org, K9s for Warriors k9sforwarriors.org, or any veteran-supporting charities.
