She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Katshir and John Katshir; her husband Robert J. Szarmack; her siblings, Cuffy Kulik and John Katshir; and her nieces and nephews, David, Jimmy, Frank, Cindy (Rich), Amy and Tommy.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marianne Szarmack and Susan Higgins; her grandson Robert P. Higgins; her godson Joseph Kulik (Anita); her sister-in-law Renee Connolly; and her nieces and nephews, Greg (Tracy), Kim (Frank), Laurie (Joel), Patty, Donna (Terry), Kathy, Diane (Greg), Marcy (Michael) and Anne Marie (Troy).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Archangel Gabriel Parish (Holy Trinity Church) (5718 Steubenville Pike, McKees Rocks, PA 15136).
