She was predeceased by : her husband Patrick G. McDonnell; her child Rian (Maryellen); her siblings, Len Blumling (Joan), Robert Blumling and Mary Alice Posner (Charles); and her parents, Leander Blumling and Florence Blumling (Hutter).

She is survived by : her children, Alanna Reed (Robert), Jeff McDonnell (Tatiana) and Liane McDonnell; her grandchildren, Jason Gagermeier, Justin McDonnell, Melissa Gagermeier, Adela McDonnell, Augustus Smith and Natalie Kendall; and her friend Carol.
