He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Geist and Helen Lohry Geist (K. E.); his wife Wilma J. West Geist; and his brother Eugene E. Geist. He is survived by: his stepmother Margaret Matthews Geist; his children, Timothy D. Geist of Ludlow, PA, Daniel B. (Lori Geist), Karen E. Shouse of Neshannock, PA, Janice M. Geist (Bruce Ferraro) and Jennifer J. (Allan Drake); his grandchildren, Sarah E. Grossman (Joshua) of Samuel, J. D, Shouse (Cally), Rachel M. Loya (Kevin), Tayler N. Geist, Ethan E. Geist, Andrew A. Drake, Allyson R. Drake and Aaron T. Drake; his great grandchildren, Emma, Noah, Eleanor and Conrad; his pet Charlie; and his son-in-law Allan Drake. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
