He was predeceased by: his parents, Archibald and Marcella Murdoch (Booth); and his brothers, Archibald and Mark Murdoch. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary Bosco Murdoch; his daughters, Sandra Nail (Scott), Danielle Whoric (Gary) and Laurel Michele (Steve); his stepsons, Robert Allen Kruise and Keith Christopher Kruise; and his siblings, Susan Niedergal (Jack), Michael Murdoch (Monica) and Kevin Murdoch. He is also survived by fifteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
The family has suggested memorial contributions be made, if desired in Dan's memory to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
