He was predeceased by: his parents, Fiore DeChellis and Mary DeChellis (Carducci); his spouse Shirley J. Witherow DeChellis; and his sister Rita Binkoski. He is survived by: his children, Melissa'Missie' Leonard (Marvin) of Enon Valley and Jon-Paul DeChellis (Karen) of Spring Hill, Tennessee.; his grandchildren, Antonio DeChellis of Oxford, Gianna and Natalia DeChellis of Spring Hill; and his pets, Abby and Jax.
The family has suggested in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, if desired in John's memory to Tunnel To Towers Foundation or the Wounded Warriors Project.
