It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Carmen Alicandro Sr. (Rochester, Pennsylvania), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on August 30, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Alicandro and Rose Sedicino Alicandro; his grandson Matthew Alicandro; his siblings, Phillip Alicandro and Lucy; and his brothers-in-law, Henry Mathlage, Edward Charlovich and Gino DiVecchio.
He is survived by: his wife Geraldine Ann "Gerry" Charlovich Alicandro; his children, Janice A. Alicandro, New Sewickley Twp, Mary Lynn Alicandro, Diane (John Everett), Carol (Robert Boyle) and Joseph C., Jr. of New Sewickley Twp; his daughter-in-law Desiree Alicandro of New Sewickley Twp; his grandchildren, Megan Gregorini (Joseph), Colton Pander, Senior Airmen Shane Everett (Mayson Everett) and New Sewickley Twp; his great grandchild Willow Ray Pander; his sister Nancy DiVecchio; and his siblings-in-law, Joane Charlovich and Robert Charlovich. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, September 6th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM.
