Shirley Jean Strobel Obituary

We bid farewell to Shirley Jean Strobel (Rochester, Pennsylvania), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 21, 2025 at the age of 90. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Wolff and Eliza M. Ford Wolff; her husband Gilbert N. Strobel; her granddaughter Michelle Kelly; her great grandchild Cheryl Strobel; her siblings, Robert Eugene, Harold G. Wolff, Gladys Lias, Lois Beck and Eliza Janosik; and her sister-in-law Shirley Rose.

She is survived by: her children, Linda (Charles Kelly), New Sewickley Twp, Barney N. Strobel, Conway and Alan S. (Karen Strobel); her grandchildren, Bronson (Jodi Strobel), New Sewickley Twp (Shawn Kelly), Lauren Strobel (Buchanan) and Alyssa (A. J. Streetman); her great grandchildren, Travis Strobel, New Sewickley Twp, Adam Strobel (Brook), New Brighton, Gabe Kelly, Wyatt Streetman, Gatlin Strobel, Piper, Finley Strobel, Georgia and Wrenly Streetman; her great great grandchild Ellie Strobel; and her siblings, Robert Wolff (Cheryl), Joyce Phillips of Buckhanon, W. V. and Beverly Grant (Larry). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 25th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the William Murphy Funeral Home, Inc. (349 Adams St, Rochester, PA 15074). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
