She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry H. Shockey and Lulu Belle Shockey (Landis); her husband Joseph John Svonavec Sr.; and her siblings, Betty Lou Shockey, Jean Gindlesperger, Sarah Cheminant, Lilian Yoder and Henry Shockey.
She is survived by: her sons, Joseph Svonavec Jr. (Rosemary), David Svonavec (Elizabeth Louise "Betty), Anthony Svonavec (Diana) of Somerset, Michael Svonavec, James Svonavec (Lynn) of Harrisonburg, VA, John Svonavec (Cindy) of Somerset, Patrick Svonavec (Joy) of Hidden Valley and Vincent Svonavec of Rockwood. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
