Cheryl L. Genteel Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Cheryl L. Genteel of Roseto, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 10, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Moyer and Virginia J. Moyer (Hess); and her husband Joseph M. Genteel. She is survived by: her son Corey A. Genteel (Bobbi); her grandchildren, Sophia Genteel (Khaled Tawfik), Joseph Genteel, Adriana Genteel, Allyson Flurer and Austyn Flurer (Katelyn); and her great grandchildren, Nolan Flurer and Noah Tawfik.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 14th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, September 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Gaffney Parsons Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc. (4 Lillian Ln, Bangor, PA 18013). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, September 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church (560 N 6th St, Bangor, PA 18013).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, 560 N. 6th St., Bangor, PA 18013.
