He is survived by: his children, Brian Kerkan (Naomi) and Melissa Kerkan; his grandchildren, Anthony Kerkan, Elizabeth Kerkan, Haley Kerkan, Alexa Kerkan and Destiny Kerkan; his great grandchildren, Kyle Kerkan, Rowan Kerkan and Remy Kerkan; and his sisters, Palma Verdi and Toni Bittner (Jack). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
