He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Theresa Doerfler; his children, Fred Doerfler (Cheryl), Debbi Musch (Herb) and Kim Strohm (Rob); his grandchildren, Hillary Saputski (Justin), Megan Doerfler, Andrew Doerfler (Sarah), Pamela Cristina (Josh), Robin Newkold (Josh) and Coleman Strohm; and his great grandchildren, Issac Cristina and Cyrus Newkold.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fox Chapel Presbyterian Church (384 Fox Chapel Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15238).
