He was predeceased by: his daughter Erin Schoen; and his brother Mark Pfeifer. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Pfeifer (Jones); his daughter Gina Mackin (Michael) of New Castle; his grandchildren, Brian Wilson of Pittsburgh, Dimitri Martiny, Leland Mackin and Erin Mackin; his siblings, James G. Pfeifer of Fresno and Ellen Piper of Pittsburgh; and his nephews, James Pfeifer Jr. of Palm Springs and Jeffrey Pfeifer of Clovis, California..
In lieu of flowers Dave's family would like to have donations sent to the following charities: "Tunnel for Towers", National Child Traumatic Stress Network and the "Beaver County Humane Society.".
