He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Perkins and Veronica Perkins (Ebner); his son-in-law Robert Thurston; and his sister Joan Schiefer. He is survived by: his wife Ellen Perkins (Bickert) of Saylorsburg, PA.; his daughter Margaret Thurston of Philadelphia, PA; his grandchildren, Robert Thurston (Ashley), Jeffrey Thurston, Brian Thurston, Jason Thurston (Jennifer), Marissa Thurston and Jessica Thurston; and his great grandchildren, Connor, Wyatt, Chase, Michael, Jude, Grey, Jackson, Jacob and Olivia.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church (1402 US-209, Brodheadsville, PA 18322). A Mass will be held on Tuesday, June 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
