He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Sue Kovacs. He is survived by: his son Matthew James Kovacs; his daughter-in-law Rebecca Lynn Kovacs; his granddaughter Audrey Rose Kovacs of Long Beach, CA; and his brother James John Kovacs. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces and their children.
