He was predeceased by: his parents, John Mckendrick and Ruby Mckendrick (Ritter); his wife Velma Proctor Mckendrick; and his great grandchild Gabriel Dean Dingle. He is survived by: his children, Mark Mckendrick (Karen) of Waynesboro, Dawn Dingle (Vernon) of Smithsburg, Scott Mckendrick (Charlotte) of Waynesboro, Brian Mckendrick (Deana) of Waynesboro, Robin Schroyer (John) of Waynesboro, Sheila Frankenfield (Donald) of Greencastle and Sherry Emory (Scott) of Waynesboro; and his brother Jack Mckendrick (Barb) of Waynesboro. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 36 great-grandchildren.
