It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carmen N. Ferranto of Russell, Pennsylvania, born in Kane, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 2, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rocco Ferranto and Emidia "Mary" Ferranto (Minolfi); and his sisters, Lucy Ferrano, Roxanne Powers and Teresa Heller.
He is survived by: his wife Susan E. Ferranto (Detrick); his children, Cheri McJunkin (David) of Russell, Wendy Kobojek of Claredon and Timothy Ferranto (Tricia); his grandchildren, Emily McJunkin (Logan Bellardo), Anna McJunkin, Jacob Ferranto and Samuel Ferranto; and his sister Adeline Stoneburg of DuBois. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
