We are sad to announce that on August 7, 2025, at the age of 89, Donald L. VanOrd of Russell, Pennsylvania, born in Warren, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Donald L. VanOrd to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Agidius VanOrd and Marion Ludwick VanOrd; his former wife Magdalene Kaluza VanOrd; his stepson Timothy A. Pedersen; and his brothers, Norman VanOrd and Robert VanOrd.
He is survived by: his wife Roxan S. Johnson Pedersen VanOrd; his children, Bryan L. VanOrd of Sugar Grove, PA., Barry T. VanOrd (Tammy) of Sugar Grove, PA. and Jill D. Schutt (Chris) of Bettendorf, IA; his stepchildren, Steven J. Pedersen (Donna) of South Elgin, IL., Jeffrey R. Pedersen (Pam Davidson) of Ludlow, PA. and Jill D. Pedersen (Melanie) of Cleveland, OH.; and his siblings, Kenneth VanOrd (Sharon) of Charlotte, MI. and Margaret Dalrymple of Peachland, N. C.. He is also survived by 15 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc. (304 East St, Warren, PA 16365). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, August 12th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Donald's memory to a charity of one's choice.
