He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Houseknecht and Antoinette Houseknecht (Belmonte); and his wife Lorraine Houseknecht (Szeliga). He is survived by: his children, John M. Houseknecht (Nancy) of St. Clair and Lynn Houseknecht (William Guyeski); his grandsons, Gunnar Houseknecht (Meghan) of Bath and Garrett Houseknecht (Ashley) of Hanover; and his siblings, Michael Houseknecht (Sally) of St. Clair and Ann Marie O'Boyle of Minersville. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
