It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joseph Swartchick of Saint Clair, Pennsylvania, born in Pottsville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Swartchick and Mary Swartchick (Elenchin); his wife Elizabeth "Bettylou" Swartchick; and his brothers, Steve and Jack Swartchick.
He is survived by: his children, James Swartchick, Thomas Swartchick (Lien), Daniel Swartchick and Marysusan Dougherty (Joseph); his brother Michael Swartchick; his sibling's children, John Symons of St. Clair, Lavelle of St. Clair, Cynthia Tilinski of St. Clair and Brian Symons of St. Clair; and his grandchildren, Kerry, Stacie, Ali, Steven, Andrea and Emily. He is also survived by 10 great grandchildren.
