He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Henry and Josephine Whetstone (Combs); and his sons, Roger Jr. and Robert. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Whetstone of Tallahassee, FL, Michael Whetstone of Bonaire, GA, Timothy Whetstone, Shirlene Knopsnyder and Melony Lynch; his sister Sally Whetstone; and his half-siblings, Terry Whetstone and Margaret Whetstone. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
