He was predeceased by: his nephew Damien; his cousin Gibby Buerk; and his grandparents, Gilbert, Henrietta "Mutchie" Buerk, Kenneth and Louise Samick.
He is survived by: his parents, Kurt Samick and Diane Buerk Samick; his uncle Ricky; his close friend Maureen Newell of St. Marys; his children, Grace and Leo Samick; his siblings, Travis Samick (Chelsea) of St. Marys and Rachel Samick of St. Marys; his siblings' children, Cameron, Sydney, Trevor and Ellie; his friend Guido Allegretto; and his godmother Brenda Keech. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, employees, and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home (151 N Michael St, St Marys, PA 15857). A celebration of life was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maker's Warehouse (315 Brusselles St, St Marys, PA 15857).
