She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Smithbauer and Lavina Englehart Smithbauer; her husband Clarence "Sonny" Beimel; her daughter Penny Diem; and her brothers, Michael Smithbauer and James Smithbauer.
She is survived by: her children, Patti Lee (Dennis) of St. Marys, Paula McMurray (John) of St. Marys, Pam Oknefski (Fred) of Ridgway, Perry Beimel (LouAnn) of St. Marys and Pernell Beimel (Tina Herzing) of St. Marys. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
