It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Catherine J. (Thorr) Hill in Saint Marys, Pennsylvania, who passed away on June 13, 2025, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifton Thorr and Catherine Thorr (Froess); her husband William J. Hill; her siblings, John Thorr and Doris T. Amthor; and her niece Deborah Christensen.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Lauren Amthor, Rebecca Bone (Gary), Heidi Rickloff (Jim), Henry Amthor (Barb), John Amthor (Teri), Douglas Amthor (Sarah), Bill Thorr (Eve), Richard Thorr (Annette), Patty Best (Bob), Kathleen Crook (Joe), Elaine Shultz (Duane) and John Thorr. She is also survived by several great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory (1595 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16508). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Peace Church (2401 W 38th St, Erie, PA 16506).
