He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Eckert and Rita Ehrensberger Eckert; his sisters, Diane Kane (Albert), Denise Warner (Fred) and Donna "Weezie" Eckert; his nephews, Allen Kane and James Eckert; and his great-nephew Gabriel Harrington.
He is survived by: his siblings, Dora Yanak (LeRoy) of St. Marys, Darla Eckert of St. Marys, Danita Moate of St. Marys, Kay Vollmer (Steve) of St. Marys, Daniel Eckert, Dennis Eckert, Donald Eckert (Donna) of St. Marys and Doug Eckert (Atsuko Yamazaki) of Dublin, OH; and his pet Pepsi. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
A committal service will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
