We announce the death of Fredrick B. Schneider (Saint Marys, Pennsylvania), who passed away on September 30, 2026, at the age of 80. Fredrick will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Fredrick Schneider and Elizabeth "Betty" Smith Schneider Frey. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Norlin; his children, Danette Wickett (Joe) of St. Marys, Jeffrey Schneider (Colleen) of Johnsonburg, Scott Schneider (Dawna) of Ridgway, Alan Schneider (Tracy) of Kersey and Becki Taylor (Troy); and his grandchildren, Tyler, Cory, Nathan, Trey, Alyssa, Alexa, Haleigh, Jesse and Hollie.
A memorial gathering was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Lynch-Green Funeral Home (151 N Michael St, St Marys, PA 15857). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the St. Marys Church (315 Church Street, Saint Marys, PA 15857).
