He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Sorg and Mabel Rollick Sorg; his nephew Shane Schneider; and his pet Midnight. He is survived by: his children, Rosalynn Rooney (Joe) of Falls Creek and Charles "Chuck" Sorg (Nicole Skrzypek) of Kersey; his grandchildren, Sophia, Foster and Coen Rooney; his siblings, Glenn Sorg (Genevieve) of St and Deborah Schneider (James) of St; his friend Teva Farley of St. Marys; and his nieces, Tracy Schneider and Jamie Chicola.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Church (337 Center St, St Marys, PA 15857). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Marys Catholic Cemetery (604 Joseph Rd, St Marys, PA 15857).
