As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lee may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Stauffer and Margaret Heser Stauffer; his son Rick Stauffer; and his sister Grace Brehun. He is survived by: his wife Carol Distler; and his children, Melissa Brody (Lee) of Pittsburgh, John Stauffer (Wendy) of Damascus, MD and Joseph Stauffer (Kim) of St. Marys. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Queen of the World Church (134 Queens Rd, St Marys, PA 15857). A burial will be held on Wednesday, July 30th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
