She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Griffith and Katherine Hart Griffith; her husband Ralph Yount; her son Nye Whiting; and her siblings, Roy Griffith, David and Mary Ellen Grovanz.

She is survived by : her close friend H. Larry Caton; her son Kurt Whiting; her stepdaughters, Chris Andrews and Donna Shaffer; and her sister Leona Knarr of Bowling Green, FL.. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and step grandchildren.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the charity of the donors choice.
