He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Schneider and Anna Mertz Schneider; his wife Veronica H. Hoffman; and his siblings, Margaret Sadley Carpenter, Marian Roberts, Elizabeth "Betty" Struble, Dolores Arnold, Orma McKeon, William, Thomas, Richard "Dick" and John "Jack" Schneider.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa Schneider Yebernetsky (Carl) of DuBois, Douglas Schneider (Heather) of Ridgway and Scott Schneider (Bridget McDonough) of Pittsburgh; his grandchildren, Dr. Kyle Yebernetsky (Jessica) and Katlyn Yebernetsky (Eric Routch); his stepgrandchildren, Josh Mercer and Dodi Black (Eric); his great grandchildren, Oaklyn, Henry, Laurel and Brooks; and his brother Timothy Schneider (Wanda) of St. Marys. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Lynch-Radkowski Funeral Home (169 Center St, St Marys, PA 15857). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Boniface Church (355 Main St, Kersey, PA 15846).
