He was predeceased by: his parents, David F. Hill and Inza B. Day Hill; his wife Mary Ann Stem Hill; and his siblings, Mary L. Klingensmith, Charles and Donald Hill.
He is survived by: his sons, David B. Hill Jr. (Cynthia) of Vandergrift and Galen D. Hill of Salina; his grandchildren, Joshua J. Hill (Emily) of Erie, Christina M Hill of Slickville, David B. Hill III (Brianna) of Fuguay-Vacina, NC and Cassandra M Hill of Vandergrift; and his great grandchildren, Zane, Brodey and Farah Ann Hill.
