He is survived by: his wife Melinda Kay Maust (King); his children, Carson Maust, Jr., Raymond Bryner, III (Lea), Sheila Maust (Gwyn), Vanessa Hartman and Robin McAuliffe (Shaun); and his siblings, Cecil Maust, Jr., Joyce Wilt (Delmas) and Mona Lee Yoder. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews.
