Florence R. Snyder Hottenstein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Florence R. Snyder Hottenstein of Salisbury, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 3, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husbands, Charles N. Snyder Sr. and Harvey Hottenstein; her parents, John Ritter and Mildred Ritter (Heil); her son Larry A. Snyder; her grandson Adam Webster; her son-in-law Howard Butz Sr.; and her brothers, Frederick, John Jr., Amos, Harvey, James and Robert Ritter.
She is survived by: her children, Janet F. Butz of Salisbury Township, Charles N. Snyder, Jr. (Deborah) of Slatington, John S. Snyder of Allentown and Dennis J. Snyder (Connie) of Allentown; and her sister-in-law Linda Degler of Allentown. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the K. V. Knopp Funeral Home (46 E Susquehanna St, Allentown, PA 18103). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
