He was predeceased by: his parents, Milhaly Szarka and Erzsebet Szarka (Pastenyi); his wife Elizabeth Sarko (Snyder); and his sons, John Truman and Frank P. Sarko, Jr..
He is survived by: his son Wayne Sarko (Priscilla) of Riegelsville; his grandchildren, Kristin Hersh (Brad) and Ryan Sarko (Susanna); his great grandchildren, Gianna, Dylan, Andie and Bailee; and his brother Andy Sarko of Bethlehem. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
