He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair D. Thompson and Annie L. Kissell Thompson; his siblings-in-law, Lewis and Clara Cohick; his brothers, John (Jack) and Howard; and his siblings-in-law, Ruby, Jane, Joan Thompson, Cynthia Dwyer and Budd Whitehill.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Cohick; his children, Ronna Lee Thompson (Donald Faulkner) of Beech Creek, Dennis C. Thompson (Robin) of Jersey Shore and Carol T. Barrows (Keith) of Jersey Shore; his grandchildren, Gregg H Smith (Cindy) of Myerstown, Sara Smith of Pine Creek, Rose Dodd (Sam) of Bastress, Cassandra Pick (Dan) of Center Hall, Alicia Thompson of Sarasota, Fla., Susan Phillips (Dylan) of North Bend, Victoria Auzenne (Daniel) of Lansing, Ill and Rebecca Giovannacci (David) of Purcellville; his great grandchildren, Cooper, Calista Smith, Cassadi, Gunnar, Eva Dodd, Clara, Boyd Pick, Charlotte, Violet and Andrea Phillips; his brother Richard C (Sharon) of Trout Run; his sister-in-law Connie Whitehill; his brother Robert; and his siblings-in-law, Claramae Glunk and Ted Dwyer of Delaware.
