It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Aaron Christopher Darnell of Saltsburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 23, 2025, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandfather David E. Gillis. He is survived by: his parents, Christopher G. Darnell and Brandy M. Darnell (Fallecker) of Saltsburg; his sister Mackenzie M. Darnell of Saltsburg; his grandparents, Evelyn Gillis of Derry, Scott, Sandy Fallecker of Ligonier, Red and Kathy Darnell of Youngwood; his uncle Scott; his aunts, Heather Fallecker and April Darnell; his cousins, Levi, Elizabeth, Tyler, Paxton, Adeline and Leah; and his close friend Evan DePrimio.
Viewing was held on Tuesday, May 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lopatich-Brinker Funeral Home (601 Weldon St, Latrobe, PA 15650). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
