He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Marafka and Anna Marafka (Henkel); his siblings, Harold Marafka, Elizabeth Marafka, Barbara Marafka, Loretta Sheliga and Dolores Pishko; and his nephew Gregory Pishko.
He is survived by: his brother Larry Marafka; his nieces and nephews, Nancy Sheliga, Michele Lane (Jason), Carol Marsh (Rob), Denise Pishko, Susan Ring (Pat), Tiffany Belice, Susan Marafka, Jennifer Parsons (Mike), Michael Sheliga, Drew Belice (Tammy) and Shawn Belice; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Lexie Belice, Brianna Belice, Roxanne Ring, Stella Parsons, Madi Belice, Halle Belice, James and Liam Belice.
A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Matthew Roman Catholic Church (703 Indiana Ave, Saltsburg, PA 15681). A burial was held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 10:45 AM at the St. Matthew Cemetery (703 Indiana Ave, Saltsburg, PA 15681).
