It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ruth E. Chonka of Sanatoga, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 1, 2025, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Peter S. Chonka of Sanatoga Ridge; her parents, Samuel Esch and Minnie Esch (Kurtz); and her siblings, Vernon, George, Wilbur, Mahlon, James, Paul Esch, Iva B. Fehr and Eunice Wander.
She is survived by: her children, Phillip Chonka of Chicago, IL, Clifford D. Chonka (Elizabeth), Larry J. Cionca (Lea), Rodney Chonka and Yvonne C. (Jack Sturgeon) of Jacksonville Beach, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cedarville United Methodist Church (1092 Laurelwood Rd, Pottstown, PA 19465). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
