He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Betty L. Wilson Beahan, III; and his sister Sandy Beahan. He is survived by: his niece Shelley Head; his nephew John D. Rector; Polly Kimes, Jeff Kimes, Mindy Jennings (Kevin) and Kelley Hogan (Moses). He is also survived by six grandchildren.
