He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Lee and Margaret B. "Peg" Kern Sr.; and his brother Ralph J. Kern (Karen). He is survived by: his wife Bonnie M. Graham; his daughters, Michele Redfoot (Jerry), Mindy Sarver (Mark) and Marci Custer (Mark); his grandchildren, Gretchen Engstrom (Dan), Emily Mosley (Michael), Brianna Moyer (Sean), Kyleigh McAnallen (Brendan), Brandon Sarver (Mae) and Tanner Sarver; and his great grandchildren, Easton, Oaklyn Moyer, Everett, Ellis Engstrom, Ezra, Scarlett Mosley and Theodore McAnallen.
