She was predeceased by: her parents, William J. Paxton and Edyth Boyd Paxton; her husband Gordon Opitz; and her sisters, Anna Louise Braham and Shirley Paxton.
She is survived by: her children, Kathleen Ebbert (Vince) and Gordy Opitz (Linda); her grandchildren, Elissa Cowgill (Kris), Krista Craig (Larry), Sarah Ebbert, Shawn Ebbert, Kyle Opitz and Kelley Prentice (Ryan); her great grandchildren, Evelynn, McKinley, Dakota, Charley, Grace and Ella; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Vance (Bill) and Shirley Opitz. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sandy Lake Presbyterian Church (3461 Sandy Lake Rd, Sandy Lake, PA 16145).
