He is survived by: his mother Karen Wagner Johnston of Freeport; his wife Leeanna "Faye" Johnston (Kelley); his children, Michaela Roenigk (Matthew) of Sarver and James Johnston, III (Olivia Bauer) of Sarver; his sister Kelly Dammond (Darrell) of Cabot; his grandchildren, Lane, Blake, Grant and Willa; his father-in-law Jim (Nancy Love); and his siblings-in-law, Jamie Love and Michael Love (Melanie). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
