He was predeceased by: his parents, Murray Edwards and Hazel Edwards; and his sisters, Carol Dunlap and Sandra Gibson. He is survived by: his wife Harriet Ann Edwards; his children, Kim Woodrow (Dan) of Naples, FL and Shaun Mathis (Lawrence) of Bowie, MD; his sister Yvonne Wilson of Atlanta, GA; his grandchildren, Justin Woodrow, Brittany Williams (Sean), Lacey Woodrow, Cortney Mathis and Jordan Mathis; and his great grandchildren, Julian Serena, Ava Williams, Ezra Williams and Nova Williams. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that in remembrance of Rudy Edwards, any charitable donations be made to AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital to support the nurses and hospitalists.
