He was predeceased by: his parents, William Clair and Roxie Mae Satterfield (Bussard); and his brother Robert G. Satterfield. He is survived by: his wife Merla Shaal Satterfield (Mosebey); his children, Keith Satterfield (Terry Ann) of Altoona, PA and Trisha Tenley (Jeff) of New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Richelle Rafferty (Ryan), Joshua Tenley (Jessica), Shonda Pecor (Cory), Sierra Satterfield and Kethan Satterfield; his great grandchildren, Sadie, Sarah, Rylie and Sawyer Rafferty; his grandchildren, Kylie, Kaelyn, Lorelai, Lydia, Addilyn, Jase Tenley and Isaiah Pecor; his foster sister Lucy Stroud; his stepsons, Tim Shaal (Christine), Jonathan Shaal and Andrew Shaal (Tiffany); and his stepgrandchildren, Samuel and Elizabeth Shaal.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 14th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Akers Funeral Chapel (715 Church St, Saxton, PA 16678). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
