She was predeceased by: her father William "Bill" Gates. She is survived by: her mother Elsie Gates (Bollman) of Dudley; her husband Barry S. Leonard; her daughters, Amber Musselman (Scott) and Kristi Leonard (Lindsey); her siblings, Chrystal (William), Leann (Rusty), Melissa and Billie Jo (Steve); her grandson Jeremiah; her nephew Colton; her siblings-in-law, Randy and Jodi; her mother-in-law Dorie; and her brother Jeffrey. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Curtis A. Heath Funeral Home, Inc. (5010 Railroad Ave, Broad Top City, PA 16621). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
