She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Palmer and Jean Palmer (Caldwell); her husband James R. Whitfield; and her siblings, Russel Palmer, Curtis Palmer and Betty Reed.
She is survived by: her children, Mark A. Whitfield (Eddie Hay) of State College, Cindy R. Segasser (Craig) of York and Susan B Park (Jerry) of Martinsburg. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
