He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Ruby Hipp (Mosebey); his parents, Joseph Hipp and Florence Hipp (Weaver); his siblings, Mary Ralston of Huntingdon, Joe Hipp of Huntingdon, Dave Hipp (Cindy) of Huntingdon, Dorothy Peck (Jeff) of Petersburg Pike, Bob Hipp (Becky) of Bellwood and Shirley Hockenberry (David) of Blairs Mills; and his son Jamie. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Akers Funeral Chapel, 715 Church Street, Saxton to help with funeral expenses.
