He was predeceased by: his parents, Merritt Alexander Seamans and Julia Cummings Seamans; his wife Carol "Pierce"; and his siblings, Merritt, Harold, Helen Wakula, Alice Finton, Margaret Wakula (Maggie) and Frances Strickland (Frannie).
He is survived by: his children, Brian and Brenda; and his sister-in-law Beverly Seamans. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
