It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Francis Duane Rought (Sayre, Pennsylvania), born in Towanda, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 30, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, John William Rought Sr. and Mildred Leona Ackley Rought; his wife Kandice R. Rought; and his sister-in-law Carol Rought. He is survived by : his close friend Pamela Ames; and his siblings, Sharon Slocum (John) of Wysox, Mary Heath (Jim) of North Towanda, John Rought Jr. (Sheila) of Hornbrook, Joe Rought of Hornbrook and Harry "Pete" Rought (Sue) of Camptown. He is also survived by several stepchildren, step grandchildren and step great grandchildren.
